Back in 2005, I took a trip from Orange County up the California coast, stopping along the way and ending in San Francisco for about a week. My friend David showed me all around the city. This was an outdoor sculpture by artist David Best for the Black Rock Arts Foundation.
Isn't it cool? It's made mostly out of recycled materials and took about a month to make. David Best is well-known for the temples he builds for the Burning Man festivals, and then, well, burns down. Incredible.
